UNDP Adaptation Portfolio: Project Database

Portfolio summary
The UNDP adaptation portfolio includes enabling activities, as well as initiatives piloting adaptation policies and measures financed in part by the Global Environment Facility (GEF). The portfolio of pilot initiatives under implementation or about to commence is worth $49 million in GEF funding, or 136 million including co-financing for 25 projects in 41 countries. UNDP is supporting 30 countries in the preparation of National Adaptation Programmes of Action (NAPAs). As NAPAs are submitted, UNDP assists with the implementation of identified adaptation priorities. The pipeline of concepts in earlier preparation stages amounts to $42 million of unfunded initiatives.
